Meg Maly, M.S.W., L.S.W., is a Licensed Social Worker, Educator, and a Motivational Speaker and Stand Up Comic with 20 years experience presenting educational programs in Health and Wellness, Stress Management, Interpersonal Relations, Communication, Management Skills, Customer Service, Therapeutic Humor, and many topics. Meg has worked as Educational Specialist for Saint Vincent Health Center, the Family Education Coordinator for Family Services, and Director of the NW PA Alzheimer’s Association and an instructor for Penn State University and Gannon University. Meg has had a special ministry working with cancer patients and others with serious illnesses, and as a counselor and teacher in the field of bereavement and hospice. Meg earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from Edinboro University of PA and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Case Western Reserve University.
 
As a humorist and comedian, Meg wrote a regular humor column for the Erie Times News. She performed with and wrote for several improv and stand up comedy groups. She currently travels the country presenting motivational humor education programs and stand up comedy performances with her partner Blamo as the team Funny Since Birth.

Blamo is the president of Blamo’s Enterprises, a sales and production company. Blamo has 40 years experience as a salesman, recruiter, motivational speaker, storyteller and entertainer. He has presented at sales programs across the country and appeared in educational films and TV commercials. A former Marine, ironworker, and biker, he has led an exciting and colorful life. Blamo has a special ministry working with people in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction and has used therapeutic humor in his own recovery process. Blamo has performed stand up comedy for 5 years. He performed with the comedy group Laffin Out Loud. Then joined comedy forces with Meg Maly in 1999 and formed Funny Since Birth, one of the only male-female stand up comedy duos in America. Funny Since Birth performs for comedy clubs, corporate groups, schools, parties, festivals and special events.

Meg Maly and Blamo now combine their comic talent, therapeutic humor skills and motivational speaking experience, to present upbeat educational programs for professional, medical, corporate, business, sales, and consumer groups on the value and benefits of humor.
